Through its first annual Symposium on May 15th, 2019, the Centre ensured its commitment to knowledge sharing and capacity building by sharing lessons learned from our previous research. On-campus and external research partners and collaborators participated, and shared insights about the Proactive Advising intervention, which was the focus of the Centre’s first annual Call for Partners.
The agenda of the day included a keynote welcome, knowledge expert presentations on the Proactive Advising operational model and best practices in data analysis, project update presentations from college partners, and a working group.
In addition to showcasing the work of the Centre and planning for the implementation of each partner’s project, tangible items were disseminated to facilitate capacity building and knowledge sharing, including:
- An Implementation Checklist;
- An Operational Reference Guide; and
- A Best Practices Fact Sheet.
