Mohawk Softball Woes Continue

The Mohawk women's softball team got roughed up by St. Clair Saturday (Oct. 13) at Mohawk Sports Park.

The Saints won both ends of the doubleheader, 12-4 and 17-7.

In game one, Shelby Hayward had a leadoff triple and a single and scored twice for the Mountaineers. Kennedy Peirce went 2-for-4 with a pair of singles and scored a run.

In the nightcap, Brianne Forti went 2-for-3, with two singles and scored twice. Stephanie Godden got on base three times and scored twice and Alyssa Van der Werf was 2-for-3 and also scored twice.


Mohawk's record dropped to 4-18 while St. Clair moved to 19-3.
