The Mohawk men's basketball team dropped a 101-93 verdict to the Niagara Knights in Welland Friday (Jan. 25).
Emanuel Otong scored 27 points and added 14 rebounds. Matt Foster notched 19 points and Cudjoe Masuka had 14.
Mohawk saw its record go to 5-8 and Niagara upped its mark to 11-3.
"I can't tell you how proud I am of these guys," said Mohawk head coach Brian Jonker. "That is as tough a road back-to- back as we could have. (They lost at Redeemer the night before). "It would have been easy to fold tonight but we battled right to the end. When we do something special in the future I'll look back to tonight as the day I knew we had it in us," Jonker said..
