It was a rough night in Welland for the Mohawk men's volleyball squad, Wednesday (Jan. 30).
They lost their second straight match and fell a game below .500, losing in three straight sets to the Niagara Knights- 18-25, 18-25, 21-25.

Elijah Bugiardini led Niagara with 12 kills. Ben Filmore compiled 23 assists and Robert Zalewski had 13 digs.
"Another tough day with a new lineup," said Mohawk head coach Vinny Saporito. "Our goal is to make the provincial championships and we still need to make that a bigger focus. This year is a marathon, not a sprint," Saporito said.
