Did you know: Fennell Campus is home to six hard-working honey bee colonies!
We’ve partnered with local bee keepers Humble Bee, to bring honey bees on campus as part of Mohawk’s sustainability mission and in support of our local food programs. The honey bees play an important supporting role in our food system, pollinating millions of local flowers, fruits, vegetables and nuts. In fact, one out of every three bites of food we eat comes from plants pollinated by bees!
Honey Bee Colonies Live Feed
The bee colonies are happier and healthier without much human interaction. The Live Feed lets you get up close and personal with the bees, without disturbing them.
