Jessica Johnson is an honours graduate of the Police Foundations, Advanced Security Management, and Health, Wellness and Fitness Programs at Mohawk College. During her time as a student, she held a variety of positions, such as, gym controller, student ambassador, and Intramural and Special Event Coordinator. When Jessica started her college career, her goal was to become a police officer. However, her continued involvement in the fitness environment shifted her interests to become more involved in the health and fitness training of future Justice and Wellness graduates. After graduating, she was hired at Mohawk College as a Technologist, specializing in the Justice Fitness classes and physical testing protocols. Jessica has obtained her Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology Certified Personal Training Certification (CSEP-CPT) and continues to take a variety of additional fitness courses, staying up to date on training protocols and adapting her teaching accordingly. With the help of her superiors, she has been able to combine her passions and provide her students’ with the knowledge necessary to be successful. Jessica looks forward to working with you and assisting in establishing your own career path.
