Melissa Groves is the Program Coordinator of the Autism and Behavioural Science graduate certificate program. Prior to her career at Mohawk College, Melissa worked at Hamilton Health Sciences in the Autism Spectrum Disorder Services for 10 years. Melissa has experience supervising staff and working with individuals with ASD between the ages of 2 to 18, as well as collaborating with parents and other community partners.
Melissa has a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Master of Applied Disability Studies (specializing in Applied Behaviour Analysis) from Brock University. Melissa became a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst in 2012 and has been a long-standing member of the Ontario Association for Behaviour Analysis.
