Sean Nix is the Associate Dean for Building & Construction Sciences and Mathematics, having previously served in a faculty role since 2013. He oversees the delivery of the Architectural Technician, Architectural Technology, Civil Engineering Technician, Civil Engineering Technology, Civil Engineering Technology – Transportation, and Urban and Regional Planning Technician - Geographic Information Systems (GIS) programs. He also oversees the delivery of mathematics and statistics courses for daytime programs across all areas of the college.
 
Sean also has over six years of professional experience in both municipal and private practice in transportation. He holds a Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning (B.U.R.Pl.) and a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Civil Engineering, both from Ryerson University. He is a Registered Professional Planner (RPP) in Ontario, and a fellow of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE). He also sits on various councils and committees with ITE, Ontario Traffic Council (OTC) and the Transportation Association of Canada (TAC).
