Yumi is both a university and college graduate with a bachelor's degree in computer science and education, a Diploma in Educational Support and a Certificate in Adult Teaching.
Yumi has extensive teaching experience. She has taught computer science, business computer applications, and graphic design at a university for ten years and has served as a student success advisor. In addition, she has been teaching Chinese for seven years. She is currently the Principal of Hamilton Chinese School and the Contact Person of the Chinese program in Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board International Language Elementary Program.
Yumi joined the Career Paths team in 2019 as an Adaptive Technologist and Learning Facilitator. She runs workshops teaching students to use various adaptive technologies to reduce learning disabilities, improve the learning experience, and enhance learning outcomes.
