Mohawk College, as a recognized IBM Premier Academic Initiative participant, is pleased to offer the IBM Skills Academy. These courses will provide professionals with knowledge, case studies innovations and practical workshops.

The IBM Skills Academy provides a blended learning approach for specific career paths that focus on job role-based training that is aligned to market demand. Students at Mohawk College can access a number of different career offerings through Continuing Education and select the one that supports their career goals most effectively. Through the blended learning approach, students can learn at their own pace and choose what best suits their individual learning style. The experience allows users to interact with content in both online and classroom-based environments.

Following the completion of an IBM Skills Academy course and exam, program participants will earn badges. Badges are a digital recognition of skills which can be shared on social and professional networks and can also be a part of the user's digital signature.
