Overview

Learn to navigate Sage 300 computerized accounting software and gain knowledge in using Accounts Payable, Receivable, Payroll and General Ledger accounts. Familiarity with basic accounting concepts is recommended.

  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent (Mohawk Academic Upgrading, GED) OR 19 years of age or older.

You do not need to apply to begin this program. Start by ensuring you meet the admission requirements listed above and then register for the courses listed in the Program of Studies when they are offered.  Some courses have prerequisites, so please check the Program of Studies for details. Find out how to register for a course.

The program of studies displayed below applies to students starting the program in the 2018/19 academic year. Students who began in other academic years may require different courses to be eligible to graduate. INFO10182 Sage 300 ERP Accounts Receivable and Payroll Focus on ledger setup, adding customer accounts, daily transactions processing, reports and periodic processing. Learn to prepare payroll data and process payroll transactions. Prerequisites: INFO10184 and INFO10185. 
INFO10232 Sage 300 ERP General Ledger and Accounts Payable Focus on the creation of a company and a chart of accounts, entering transactions, and producing financial reports. Students will then examine ledger set up, adding vendor accounts, daily transactions processing reports and periodic processing. 36 hours.

Note: INFO10184 and INFO10185 together are equivalent to INFO10232
