Academic and Career Entrance (ACE)
Academic and Career Entrance (ACE) courses are non-post-secondary courses designed to prepare you to succeed in post-secondary and apprenticeship training. They are accepted as OSSD equivalent by Colleges and Apprenticeship for purposes of admission. There are 10 courses available. Most students participate only in the courses they need to meet admission requirement for further education.
Admission & Registration
Completion of the Learn to Learn course. This 20 hour online course will help to determine if you have the necessary personal, computer and academic skills to successfully participate in ACE online learning courses. You will receive help to develop an Individualized Training Plan (ITP) based on your goal, and you will continue to be provided with advice, follow up and encouragement in partnership with your online teachers once you have registered in the ACE courses of your choice.

You do not need to apply to begin this program. Start by ensuring you meet the admission requirements listed above and then register for the courses listed in the Program of Studies when they are offered.
