Admission & Registration
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent (Mohawk Academic Upgrading, GED) OR 19 years of age or older.
- Successful completion of Secondary School English or equivalent.
You do not need to apply to begin this program. Start by ensuring you meet the admission requirements listed above and then register for the courses listed in the Program of Studies when they are offered. Some courses have prerequisites, so please check the Program of Studies for details. Find out how to register for a course.

The program of studies displayed below applies to students starting the program in the 2017/18 academic year. Students who began in other academic years may require different courses to be eligible to graduate. |BLDG10086||Flooring and Mouldings||
Get hands-on instruction for installing flooring, from hardwood to ceramic tile. Learn about styles, colours, patterns,and textures. Tips on measuring, layout and installation will be covered. Also, included is mouldings from baseboards, crown, rail and wainscoting. Safety glasses required.
|BLDG10121||Bathrooms||Explore ideas and concepts for refinishing and/or renewing your bathroom. Includes design, assembling and hanging cabinets, hardware and tiling. Material costs included in fee. (Note - this course does not cover Plumbing, see BLDG 10072)|
|BLDG10087||Furniture Refinishing||From "shabby chic" to "chic country", learn you how to get the look you want, in a piece of furniture of your choice. Different methods of distressing and painting techniques are covered in this hands-on course. Please bring safety glasses and your piece of furniture that is easy to transport. Selected paints, stains and tools will be provided but you may bring your own.|
