Enhance your skills in applied digital photography!

Whether you are looking to develop a career in photography or just learn a new hobby, the Applied Photography program will help develop and enhance your professional skills and knowledge of photographic techniques.

Photography skills are valuable in both personal and professional settings and can be used in a variety of careers including professional photographer, journalist, graphic designer, fashion, real estate and more.

Combining illustrated lectures, field trips, and relevant 'hands-on' learning, this program will help you become familiar with a wide range of photographic equipment, business and design practices, and studio work. All levels of photographers are welcome.

Foundationally, this program shares the same core courses as the Photography Art program, however the electives offered in this program are geared towards commercial photography, such as Portraiture Photography, Advanced Digital Imaging/Photoshop, Commercial Photo Illustration and more.

The Applied Photography program is offered in a convenient, part-time schedule.

You do not need to apply to begin this program, simply ensure you meet the admission requirements (listed on the Admissions & Registration tab).
