Services

Our suite of industry-informed, sponsored programming is made up of world-class curriculum and training that will provide solutions that address the gaps in your workforce. Our dedicated team offers flexible learning solutions online, in-person, or using a blended approach with a mix of self-study or facilitated courses and programs.

In collaboration with employer partners, our team of curriculum developers and subject matter experts develop and deliver customized training solutions designed to address specific competencies and desired learning outcomes. Our services include:

Curriculum Design and Delivery

A consultative process designed to develop or co-develop competency-based training programs to meet employer, system or sector needs in a variety of subject matter areas.

Customized Program Delivery

Customization of existing programs delivered to a community of learners anywhere in Canada, in online formats. Individual and small-group learning to meet specific learning needs.

Facilitated Workshops and Skills Labs

Intensive, skills-based, in-person training sessions developed and delivered to foster upskilling opportunities in a variety of disciplines.

By combining the respective strengths, expertise and resources of industry, government and employer partners we are able to accelerate the impact of demand-led employment solutions using a sustainable and scalable model of training.

Training

We have successfully supported the health workforce through the development and delivery of a number of innovative training programs, building a catalogue of educational and skills training offerings that can be delivered for our partners in or out of province. With many new projects underway, examples of our current offerings include:

This 12-week micro-certification was developed in partnership with Hamilton Health Sciences and Niagara Health.

An accelerated MRI post-graduate certificate developed in partnership with Hamilton Health Sciences.

This 9-week accelerated certification was developed in partnership with the Ministry of Health.

The Centre for Professional Advancement provides training and education solutions to employer and industry partners.

Our Vision

We will support workforce development through the creation of accelerated training programs, skills specializations, micro-credentials and pathway opportunities into the workforce while promoting retention of current human resources via opportunities for career progression, laddering and upskilling.

Our Mission

As a leading Academic partner, we aim to meet the emerging and evolving needs of the workforce through the development of non-traditional education offerings. We will meet the training needs of a rapidly changing workforce by supporting employers and learners with customized education solutions.

Our Mandate

In collaboration with government, employers and industry partners, our team seeks to identify current skills gaps and develop and deliver education to support new roles and/or competency-based rapid training programs to better align education to current workforce needs.
