Recipient of the Wilda Pinkney Scholarship for outstanding achievements in the nursing program, Adebimpe is six months away from earning her Bachelors of Science Nursing degree and becoming a two-time Mohawk grad. With both her RPN and BScN to her credit, Adebimpe has her sights set on completing her Masters and returning to the Institute of Applied Health Sciences as a nursing instructor.
Arriving to Canada as a refugee, pregnant with her now five-year-old son Toni,

Adebimpe is highly motivated to return the kindness and inspiration she experienced as a new Canadian and a member of the Mohawk community.
