Welcome information for Student Tax Clinics

Free tax clinic at Mohawk!

Walk-in: your tax return is completed during advertised hours on a first-come, first-served basis. No appointment is needed.

Drop-off: your income tax documents are dropped off during advertised hours. Your tax return will be completed by a volunteer, and you will pick it up at a later time. You will have to prove your identity when you pick up your tax return and documents.


Walk-ins are scheduled for the following Fridays only on Fennell Campus - 135 Fennell Ave W. | Room G109

  • Friday, March 24th from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
  • Friday, March 31st from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm

Drop-offs are available from March 7th to March 31st (Monday to Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm) at the following MSA Offices:

  • Fennell Campus - 135 Fennell Ave W. | Room G109
  • Stoney Creek Campus - 481 Barton | Room (A125-Fitness Centre)
  • IAHS-McMaster Campus - 1400 Main Street West | Room 112

Intake Form must be completed for both drop off and walk in service.Income Tax form PDF (170kb).

What:
This year we are hosting a Free tax clinic at Mohawk!
If you have a modest income and a simple tax situation, volunteers may be able to do your taxes!

How:
We are offering two opinions:

Walk-in: your tax return is completed during advertised hours on a first-come, first-served basis. No appointment is needed.

When:

Bring the required documentation with you to the MSA Boardroom G111 in Fennel Campus.
