Organizing and Facilitating Global Experiences – Information Session

Fri, August 16, 11am–12pm  Room i104, Fennell

Are you interested in organizing short-term abroad programming with your students but aren’t sure how?  Do you like to travel?  Would you like to further develop your intercultural competencies?

Come to one of three information sessions (dates below) to learn more!  In September, a small group of faculty will begin a training program for organizing and facilitating global experiences with students and will have the opportunity to travel to Ecuador during Winter Break 2020 for the experience of a lifetime!  This initiative furthers the College Strategic Priority “provide a gateway to global experiences” and aims to foster global competency development in students and faculty.

All information will be covered in these sessions for you to make an informed decision regarding applying for a spot. More information about the project, the application process and responsibilities and timelines will be provided at the session.

If you cannot attend a session but would like more information, please feel free to contact:

  • Kelley Hoyt, Teaching & Learning Consultant, Centre for Teaching & Learning at kelley.hoyt [at] (subject: Information%20Session)
  • Michelle Turan, Research Fellow, College Student Success Innovation Centre at michelle.turan [at] (subject: Information%20Session)

Register for: Fri, August 16, 11am – 12pm  Room i104, Fennell
