Banking & Credit: The Good, the Bad, and the UGLY

Banking and Credit Workshop: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly by Mo' Money
Sep 19

Curious if your bank account is still right for you?

Have you had the same bank account since you were 10 years old? How much do you know about the monthly fees and how well it works for you now that you're an adult?

Are you recently arrived in Canada, looking to open up a bank account? How do you decide which one is best for your needs?

What's the difference between a bank and a credit union? Does it matter?

Thinking about getting your first (or second) credit card?

What's the deal with credit cards? When half the people you know are telling you to get a credit card to start building credit (what does that even mean?), and the other half  are telling you that credit cards will ruin your life, what's the best choice to make? Are they really that bad?

In a world where Credit is King and there's a bank around every corner trying to sell you their products, it's important to really understand the basics of financial adulting: banking and credit. Mo' Money Coach Jean will walk you through the basics and answer those questions burning a hole in your wallet.
