How can I get involved?

There are many way to get involved at Mohawk. It's a great way to try something new and meet other students.

Volunteer Program - Hoping to find ways to contribute to the campus? Seeking opportunities to meet new people or develop valuable skills?

Social Inc. - Social Inc. is a place where human rights are respected. We celebrate social inclusion and work toward erasing discrimination.

Mohawk Student Leadership Academy - Highly involved student leaders are selectively chosen to participate in the Mohawk Student Leadership Academy (MSLA).

Peer Tutoring / PASS - Peer tutoring is a program to help students who require additional assistance. Students are tutored by students who have completed the course.

Mohawk Students' Association (MSA) (opens new window) - Where every college student's experience is enhanced, helping them to reach their full potential.

Varsity Athletics - Cheer on our varsity athletes or tryout for a team. As a member of the Ontario College Athletic Association (OCAA), Mohawk College competes on a varsity level in nine league sports.

Intramural Sports - Join a league just for fun - such as: men's indoor soccer, co-ed indoor soccer, floor ball, basketball, co-ed volleyball, lacrosse and hockey. No experience needed.

MCACES Walk Smart - Walk Smart is a program which helps ensure students, faculty and staff are comfortable on campus after dark.

Registered Student Groups - Student groups that fall outside of activity and academic based clubs eg. Religious, cultural, identity.

Residence Life - Living in residence? Get involved in all of the great opportunities residence life has to offer.

Fitness Centre - Join a fitness class and work off some of that student stress.

Indigenous Centre and Lounge - Welcome to all new and prospective students! Come join the community.
