If you would like to request an Admission Deferral, from one intake to another, be sure to review our deferral policy below and follow the appropriate steps for your deferral to be considered. Deferral requests must be received within 30 days of the original Letter of Acceptance start date (Please refer to Letter of Acceptance Page 1).
Are you eligible to request a deferral? Have you:
Paid a non-refundable $2,200 tuition deposit?
If you have not already paid the deposit please see the Payments website on how you can make a payment
Already requested to defer your admission before?
Applicants may defer their admission up to a maximum of three (3) terms. After a third time requesting a deferral, the student must have a consultation with your Market Specialist to proceed with an additional request.
Confirmed your program of choice is available?
Program availability can be found in the Programs search.
If the program is not offered, then select an alternate program or defer to the next available intake.
You have not selected a timetable or registration for the current intake?
If you have already selected a timetable you will not be eligible for an admissions deferral until you have completed the Withdrawal process with the International Student Services team. Contact the team and visit the Mohawk College website for more information.
