The resources below are available 24 hours, 7 days a week for student support. Counselling Service will continue Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm by phone. Please email counselling [at] for appointments.

Information for first appointment

Please plan to arrive at the health clinic at least 10 minutes before your appointment to allow for the completion of paperwork. If you are late for an appointment, it may be cancelled and rebooked for another time.

There is a fee for missed appointments, so please call or text to notify us of the cancellation if you are unable to keep your appointment.

If you are visiting the clinic for a therapy appointment ensure you wear comfortable clothing. Please note that the area of injury will need to be exposed for proper assessment. Therefore, tank tops are recommended for shoulder exposure and shorts are recommended for hip, knee and/or ankle exposure.

When booking an appointment, students are asked the nature of the visit so that an appropriate amount of time can be booked for that appointment (for example, initial birth control visits require longer appointment times). Only general information is required to determine the time slot. You do not need to disclose the entire nature of your visit to the front desk.


Walk in patients will be given a form to fill in with the reason for their visit. This information does not need to be repeated out loud.

All services provided by The Health Centre including health care, emotional support, counselling, education, diagnostic tests and therapy are confidential. Health records are entirely separate from other college documents.


No one from an academic or administrative department has access to any information about you without your written consent.
