We are always looking for responsible, resourceful, innovative, and dedicated students to enhance the centre's growing Student Leadership team!  Please submit your application for the Spring/Summer and Fall 2020 semester today!

We are proud to offer academic support to Mohawk College students through our Student Leaders. Our Student Leader positions include:

  • Peer Tutors (course content and writing)
  • Peer Assisted Study Session Leaders (facilitate study sessions for targeted courses)
  • Student Success Mentors (student success workshop facilitator)

What You Offer (Qualifications)

  • A preference of 80% GPA or higher (all students encouraged to apply)
  • A satisfactory reference from a Mohawk College instructor
  • A minimum of 80% or higher in courses willing to support
  • Be in second semester or higher
  • Passion for helping others and engaging with peers
  • Strong work ethic
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Reliable, responsible, and resilient
  • Respectfully able to engage with a diverse student population
