Thank you for your interest in Tuesday Night Music School.
Please note that our next intake is Fall 2019 (lessons will run from the 3rd week of September-December 2019).
Applicants will receive more information the 2nd week of September. We are unable to process applications sooner as we need to wait until our students return for the fall semester before we can review applications and match applicants with student teachers.
Under the supervision of our Faculty, upper level Applied Music Students can develop and improve their teaching skills for academic credit, by offering Music Lessons to members of the community.
This 10- to 12-week program welcomes a variety of participants from five years of age through teenagers, adults, and seniors. Lessons are offered on Tuesday Evenings at the Fennell Campus. Lessons are 30 minutes in duration.
The following instruments and specialties are available*:
- Brass/Wind Instruments
- Theory of Music
*Instruments offered are subject to change based upon the availability of our Applied Music Student teachers.
Please note that we do not provide instruments or practice space. You must bring your own instrument, except for pianos and drum sets, which are available for use on site during your lesson only.
An administration fee of $100 per semester, made by cheque or money order payable to Mohawk College, is due at your first lesson.
