Coding Bootcamp

  • Learn what it takes to build websites and create apps
  • Explore career opportunities and educational pathways related to Information Technology
     

This 12-week intensive boot camp runs daily with weekly guest speakers, hosted in partnership with the Industry Education Council of Hamilton and is funded by the Ontario Trillium Foundation.

START: Introduction to Manufacturing

This free, 12-week, hands-on program provides the opportunity to explore and develop the skills needed to pursue entry-level careers in Advanced Manufacturing and related sectors.

The Skilled Trades Awareness and Readiness Training program is funded by Employment and Social Development Canada.

This program offers important safety certifications and practical skills in subjects such as:

  • Tool use
  • Pneumatic systems
  • Process control
  • Welding
  • Insight into careers in Advanced Manufacturing 
  • Advanced manufacturing sectors, processes and technologies 
  • Workplace culture and safety 
  • Continuous improvement mindset 
  • Development of essential employability skills
  • Networking opportunities with local employers

This 12-week intensive boot camp runs daily with weekly visits to Mohawk's Fennell campus for guest speakers. 

Electrical and Electronic Circuits 

Welcome to the exciting world of electronics! This Learning Lab series gives an introduction to Electrical and Electronic Circuits through the construction of small projects. By the end of the series, students will be able to assemble and test circuits from a schematic.

Job Ready Toolkit

This six-part series focuses on essential skills for landing and keeping a job! 
Topics include Skills Profile, Cover Letters and Resumes, Interview Skills, Building Relationships, Dealing with Difficult People, and Leadership.

Receive a certificate of completion for each 4-week session and a program completion certificate for successfully completing all six parts.
