- Drafting Fundamentals
- Learn the basics of drafting in the fields of architectural, construction, civil, and transportation engineering. Learn to read blueprints and techniques for line work, lettering, dimensioning, sketching, and drawings assembly.
- Upon successful completion, students will receive a credit towards Engineering Technology programs at Mohawk.

- Explore Careers in Goods Movement (non-credit course)
- Connect and engage with employees to learn about in-demand career opportunities in road, rail, air and port.

- Foundations of Horticulture
- This course is an excellent starting point for those interested in a career in the horticulture and landscaping field.
- Learn about career opportunities in this field, and develop skills to assist in the maintenance of outdoor gardens and garden structures.
- Learn how to identify, select and care for plants, turf, shrubs and trees.
- Green Building Technologies
- This awareness-raising course introduces learners to green building technologies and the range of skills needed for employment opportunities in this growing sector.
- Reinforces the need to create sustainable communities to address climate change by leveraging the work of the Canada Green Building Council and industry best practices.
- Introduction to Construction
- Get comfortable working with tools on plumbing, carpentry, and electrical projects. This course is great for people looking to build confidence working on home improvement or to discover a career in the skilled trades.

- Introduction to Construction Engineering Technician
- Delivered in partnership with the City of Hamilton's Xperience Annex for adults aged 18-29, this mini-program gives you an introduction to Mohawk's Construction Engineering Technician diploma program with two courses and complimentary workshops.
- Tech Skills Theory gives you a foundational knowledge of tools and safety. Trade Calculations boosts your math skills and gives you the chance to apply them directly to solve a construction related problem.
- In addition to the two credits earned towards the Construction Engineering Technician program at Mohawk, students also participate in workshops to develop life and employment skills.
- Landscape Maintenance and Employability Skills
- This course is designed to increase awareness of careers in landscaping and grounds maintenance.
- Gain practical skills that will give you the confidence to apply for entry level positions in the landscape profession with a focus on landscape maintenance.
- Welding
- Get an introduction to the hands-on skills and theory of welding, a transferable skill across many trades and industries. Basic safety equipment is provided.
- Upon successful completion, students will receive a course exemption from the Manufacturing Engineering Technician program at Mohawk.
- Women in Meat
- Inspired by the MeatBusinessWomen professional association, the Women in Meat program is designed to encourage and nurture female talent throughout the sector through networking, education and mentorship.
- A broad overview of the meat industry with an emphasis on skills development in meat cutting as an entry point into the field

- This course will explore the social construction of body image and the impact of the diet industry.
- Course topics will include diet culture, the body positivity movement, weight stigma on social media, and being healthy at any size.

- Examine evidence-based Positive Psychology interventions that aim to increase personal well-being.
