Personal Counselling

Urgent Support

Are you experiencing a relationship challenge with a significant other or family member? Are your emotions controlling you? Having trouble relaxing? Feeling lonely, or isolated while away from home for the first time? Are you exploring your sexuality or transitioning gender roles? We can help!

Most of us have felt stuck, needed someone to talk to, or needed help figuring out what to do about a personal or emotional issue at some point in our lives. If this happens while you’re at Mohawk College, counselling services can help, especially if your personal or emotional issues are getting in the way of your academic success.

Our professional and registered counsellors are available to provide support, information, and strategies that might help you better respond to your problems.

Counselling allows you to confidentially share, explore and learn new skills and strategies while often getting a fresh and objective perspective. Please don’t put off making an appointment. You are not alone and we are here to help!

So, You’ve Got 99 Problems? We offer counselling for any issue causing you concern or distress. Our time limited counselling is offered for up to five sessions each semester, but when appropriate we will refer you to other college or community services to help you receive the best possible support.
