Aesthetics - 026
Designed for individuals who are intending to pursue a career within the growing field of aesthetics. This is an intense program of study, utilizing both theory and practical application with emphasis on student involvement for experience and training. Some areas of study include skin care and treatments, product knowledge, waxing, manicuring, salon management and customer relations.
Admission & Registration
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent (Mohawk Academic Upgrading, GED) OR 19 years of age or older.
- Successful completion of Secondary School English or equivalent.
You do not need to apply to begin this program. Start by ensuring you meet the admission requirements listed above and then register for the courses listed in the Program of Studies when they are offered. To be awarded the Certificate, you must successfully complete thirteen courses; twelve compulsory courses plus one option course.
For students starting Fall 2015. Students who are currently in progress should contact us regarding a strategy for completion.

The Aesthetics, Applied Cosmetics and Nail Technician Certificates are also offered as day-time programs. Special approval from the Program Manager is required before registering for day-time courses. Placement is limited.
