Course / Program Currency

To be eligible for graduation, students are expected to demonstrate mastery of current competencies as outlined in the Program of Studies applicable at the time of graduation. Mohawk College does not permit backdating of diplomas. In cases where study has been interrupted for one or more years, the College may require a student to repeat a subject area. Current Programs of Study can be found on our program pages.

Grades

Depending on the course, Continuing Education grades are posted to your MyMohawk account anywhere from one to six weeks following the end date.

Visit the How do I find my Continuing Education grades? webpage for more information.

A minimum passing grade of 50% applies for all graded courses offered at the College. A 60% weighted GPA is required for graduation. Exceptions to promotion and grading may exist in some program areas to meet external accreditation requirements. Details about the grading system and exceptions can be found on the Grading and Evaluation page.

If you require a paper copy of your transcript you can request one online.

Repeating Failed Courses

A student who has failed a course may repeat it in a subsequent semester, unless advised otherwise.

Residency Requirements

To qualify for a Mohawk College credential, students using advanced standing, exemptions and/or credit for prior experiential learning must complete at least 25% of the program requirements at Mohawk College.
