The Foundation kicks-off 40th Anniversary with an evening among the stars
Gathered together at the heart of the Fennell Campus, the Mohawk College Foundation and their incredible donors and partners came together to celebrate a momentous milestone. The Foundation turns 40 years young this year and what better way to start a year-long celebration than with all of the amazing donors who support our students day in and day out.
The night sky shimmered as guests enjoyed cocktails and canapés, slight of hand and custom tea blending for the “four-tea-ith” while leading up to the grand finale; the unveiling of a new section of the Donors of Distinction Wall. The Wall is the physical representation of the power of philanthropy at Mohawk College and the students it serves.
Since its inception in 1983, the Mohawk College Foundation has raised over $85 million to support student success and break down the barriers to education. The Foundation has ambitious goals to compliment the College’s strategic plan and with a dedicated community supporting each step of the way, the possibilities are boundless. Now that’s magic.
