Workshop highlights
- Learn how to create an effective LinkedIn profile and use it to build your network
- Learn to use informational interviews as a winning strategy in your job search
- Practice effective and culturally appropriate communication skills for informational interviews and networking
Interested applicants must:
- Be a permanent resident of Canada, a protected person (with Notice of Decision), or a temporary resident affected by the crisis in Gaza (showing “MOME2023” in status documentation until March 31, 2027)
Participants need English skills at Canadian Language Benchmark CLB 5-6 or have a proof of a language proficiency test i.e. TOEFL, IELTS or CELPIP to participate in these workshops
Note: Unfortunately, effective April 1, 2025, Ukrainian temporary residents and their dependents are no longer eligible for IRCC-funded settlement services and language training programs including LINC. People who started a language class before March 31, 2025, can continue in the same level until the end of the academic year (June or July)
