Primary duties
- Pull cables, wires, and conduits through walls, floors and ceilings
- Use hand and power tools such as drills, saws and conduit benders
- Cut and strip wire and cable
- Install equipment such as cable trays, racks and frames
- Comply with relevant safety regulations and building codes
Skills and Experience Required
- Good knowledge of PLC wiring and troubleshooting
- Good communication skills in English (verbal & written)
- Ability to read and understand electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
- Knowledge of electrical theory, and the associated principles, materials, and equipment
- Ability to calculate basic mathematical problems
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, climb, squat, reach, and kneel
- Demonstrated ability to operate hand and power tools associated with electrical work
