Primary duties
- Ensure the health, safety and well-being of the children and support children’s healthy development
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with coworkers
- Demonstrate and apply knowledge of child development in work with all age groups
- Provide experiences that are age appropriate and interesting to children
- RECE designation OR demonstrated experience working with toddlers, preschoolers and school age.
- Ability to work well with others: children, families, coworkers and community partners
- Ability to carry out the physical duties and tasks associated with the daily schedule in each classroom and on the playground
- Clear health assessment and criminal reference check
