Iuliana Raducanu: Truly Organic

After graduating from Mohawk College's Recreation and Leisure program, the world called, and Iuliana Raducanu answered. If you had told her that immediately after graduation, she would spend 12 years working on cruise ships, sailing across horizons, and meeting people from all over the globe, she would have laughed. Iuliana will cherish forever the time she spent creating memories and living an adventure.

Now, if you told her she would one day be running her very own essential oils business, she probably wouldn’t believe that either. Fast forward to today, and this proud Mountaineer alumna is the owner and founder of For the Love of Oils—a business venture committed to helping people move to a more sustainable lifestyle. The idea developed after years of working with harsh chemicals on cruise ships.

“I was inundated by the heavy-duty sanitizers and cleaning agents, and it started to affect my breathing after being exposed to the chemicals for such a long time,” she said.

It started with some research and then experimenting with natural alternatives. She was determined to live a chemical-free, organic lifestyle and discovered the world of essential oils.

“They come with real health benefits, real healing powers,” she said with excitement.

Iuliana was hooked. If she was going to live a cleaner, more natural life, she wanted to do the same for others and For the Love of Oils was born. And the name? Essential oils did so much for her—helping her breathe better, feel better, and live better. It wasn’t just about the products; it was about the passion behind them. It wasn’t just business—it was love, For the Love of Oils.

“Being a small business owner is overwhelming at times, but I have a lot of fun with it.”

She sources her oils from a high-quality, certified therapeutic provider— so pure they could be taken internally as a natural health product. But Iuliana doesn’t do it all herself, she has help from her mom.

“Her support and love go a long way,” she said with a smile.

In five years’, time, Iuliana hopes to have her products in every Canadian household and on the shelves of health product stores across the country.
