Diana Zanin’s trailblazing, shaped her destiny as an innovator and sales market leader in the field of Home Health Services.  As Vice President and General Manager of St. Peter’s Home Services in Hamilton, she was responsible for St. Peter’s service and growth including business development, budget and financial control, operations oversight, and liaison with local health authorities and the community.  Since that time, Diana has excelled in corporate sales and market development throughout her career, having worked in such leading edge companies as Xerox Canada, Teleflex Medical and most recently Domtar. In 2004, Diana received the Mohawk Alumni of Distinction Award.

Since graduating from Mohawk College Business Administration Program, Diana completed her Bachelor of Sociology at York University.  Her ongoing professional development has included courses such as strategy and value proposition selling, data solutions for wireless technology, medical terminology for healthcare devices, and numerous CRM programs.  During the 1990’s while at Xerox Canada, Diana’s sales training excelled, leading her to a sales path with Hatch Engineering as Consultant for Computer Based Training and market development, National Account Manager for Bell Canada until 2003, and Business Development Specialist with St. Peter’s.  Her promotion to Vice-President and General Manager of Home Services was not only a reflection of her abilities but her willingness to set stretch goals for herself and clinical team.  She returned to Xerox Canada to develop and oversee a $10M educational contract, which was acquired by Domtar.  At Domtar as Contract Manager, Diana travelled across Canada cultivating and training Big Box retail markets on sustainability of paper and Canadian-made premium products.  Diana continues to be a life-long learner progressing with her HR Management Diploma and has become a Consultant and Certified Coach.

Diana has volunteered for many excellent causes in her community, and devotes most of her time now to support causes for Long Term Care and the Alzheimer’s Society.

Diana Zanin is a unique example of a graduate who is business savvy and fearless in her willingness to stretch in the face of enormous market challenges.
