A Mohawk College graduate of the Computer Systems Technology program, Kelly Ann Pauly has worked for ArcelorMittal Dofasco for 34 years. Her positions included World Class Continuous Improvement Manager, Program Management Office Manager for Digital Business Transformation, Transformation Office Coach, and Project Manager.  These roles provided her with responsibilities for driving corporate-wide transformation in addition to the implementation of a single continuous improvement system across the company.  Program and Project Management achievements across the years included the delivery of quality projects, on scope, on schedule and within budget for ArcelorMittal Information Technology organizations spanning Canada, USA, Mexico, South America and across the globe.

Mohawk College started to directly contribute to career achievements long before graduation due to the offering of co-op work terms throughout her 3 years at Mohawk. Upon graduation, one year of accumulated computer science experience led to a full-time job at Canada Systems Group.

As time progressed, opportunities arose for business-oriented and leadership positions. The Computer Systems Technology program included business and soft-skill courses which resulted in a well-rounded foundation of knowledge to grow and pursue these non-technical interests.

Kelly Ann's community involvement has included being on the school council for St. Clare School and Orchard Park Secondary for 14 years. She has volunteered for 10 years with Lois Laxton's Dance Studio.

Additionally, Kelly Ann served on the Board of Directors (including as President) at the Project Management Institute (PMI®) Lakeshore Chapter for 5 years. She was instrumental in forming a partnership between PMI and the Robert Land Community Association to implement a global award winning project to obtain the North Hamilton “Voice of Community” input and to produce the Robert Land’s strategic plan. This project provided global recognition of Hamilton, Ontario with a presentation of the “Community Advancement Through Project Management” award in Washington, DC.
