Chief Marketing and Recruitment Officer, Mohawk College

Lori Morgan is a passionate community volunteer and leader in the marketing industry with over 30 years of experience. She is the chief marketing and recruitment officer at Mohawk College.

Lori’s longstanding efforts to break the cycle of poverty is reflected in her volunteer work with the Eva Rothwell Centre, a community hub in Hamilton’s north end providing essential supports and opportunities for education to low-income families. Lori is the longest-serving chair of their board of directors and has been instrumental in introducing a new strategic focus, and creating key community partnerships leading to sustainable funding and increased accessibility for programs.

Prior to her work in post-secondary education, Lori had a 22-year career in the newspaper industry, where she was vice president of marketing, as well as director of marketing and strategic integration at the National Post.

In addition to her Mohawk College diploma, Lori holds a certificate in human resources management from Toronto Metropolitan University and has completed the Ivey Business School executive program.
