Vice President, Strategy, Leo Burnett

Ryan Roberts is a life-long learner who has tackled new frontiers during his successful career in advertising. He is vice-president of strategy at Leo Burnett, bringing a big-picture view to reinventing brands and launching new products by studying cultural trends and structural changes in society.

Ryan’s career has spanned ad agencies, banks, and law firms and he has led award-winning marketing campaigns including Molson Canada’s first low-calorie beer, Molson 67. He was also strategy lead for Scotiabank’s new global visual identity focused on a more human, accessible, and digital friendly approach.

In supporting the industry, Ryan has volunteered as a judge for both the Canadian Marketing Awards and the Canadian Effies, and has served on the Mohawk College’s Advertising program advisory committee.

In addition to his diploma from Mohawk College, Ryan holds a law degree from the University of Ottawa.
