Wendy Lawson has seen great success in her career as a sonographer, researcher and respected leader in healthcare education. Her contributions to the sector have earned her a number of awards locally and nationally.

Wendy worked as a sonographer at a diagnostic imaging clinic before joining faculty at Mohawk College in 2007 and progressing through a number of roles. As Dean of Health and Community Services, Wendy is recognized for her work in curriculum reform, launching innovative programs and international strategies as well as overseeing medical technology initiatives.

Her commitment to advancing the field of medical imaging extends beyond the college, as a sought-after researcher, professional development consultant and board member on various professional associations.

In addition to her Mohawk diploma, Wendy holds a masters of applied science in medical imaging and an honours bachelor of science degree in biology.
