Canada-Ontario Job Grant

Meet your workforce needs by upskilling your current workforce, or train to hire, with support from the Canada-Ontario Job Grant (COJG), a joint investment from the governments of Ontario and Canada. COJG can cover 2/3 of your training costs, up to $10,000 per employee, and is available to small, medium, and large businesses across Ontario. Co-operative Education Tax Credit

The Co-operative Education Tax Credit (CETC) is a refundable tax credit that is available to employers who hire students enrolled in a co-operative education program at an Ontario college or university. To learn more about eligibility and how to apply, visit the Government of Ontario website.


Student Work Placement Program

Funded by the Government of Canada, the Student Work Placement Program (SWPP) offers wage subsidies for employers hiring students involved in a work-integrated learning opportunity, such as a co-op work term, within the fields of STEM and business. Electricity First Work Program

Operated by the Electricity Human Resources Canada, this program provides eligible companies with a subsidy equal to 1/3 the eligible participant’s salary, up to a maximum of $10,000, over a maximum 12-month work experience period. To learn more about eligibility and how to apply, visit the Electricity Human Resources Canada website.
