Fees and Financial Information

As a Continuing Education student you will register, and pay, on a course by course basis. Each term you will select the courses you would like to complete from our list of offerings. You will pay for each course selected during the registration process.

You can find the total fee (exclusive of books, materials, etc.) you will pay for each course in the online registration system.

Mohawk College is committed to providing students with access to the services and resources covered by ancillary fees. Mohawk and the Mohawk Students' Association (MSA) continue to review fees to ensure that charges are equitable and support student success and wellness.

Continuing Education Fee Breakdown

(effective Fall 2021)

Total course fees are calculated using the number of course hours and these hourly rates.

Academic Supports $0.14 per course hour to a maximum of 45 hours
Athletics & Recreation Fee

$0.13 per course hour to a maximum of 45 hours

Campus Safety

$0.05 per course hour to a maximum of 45 hours

Career Services

$0.04 per course hour to a maximum of 45 hours

Health and Counselling  $0.11 per course hour to a maximum of 45 hours
Student Achievement and Records - Transcript $0.03 per course hour to a maximum of 45 hours
Student Buildings  $0.12 per course hour to a maximum of 45 hours
Technology Enhancement $0.18 per course hour to a maximum of 45 hours

Other Fee Information

OntarioLearn Fees will be charged where applicable.

Pre-Placement Screening Fees will be charged where applicable.

Course fees do not include textbooks, and/or learning materials required by many courses. Some exceptions may apply. These are often available in the Campus Stores.

Tuition fees for non-ministry funded and cost-recovery courses may vary from the chart above.

International Students

International students require approval to register for Continuing Education courses. You will be required to email Continuing Education Registration a completed registration form (opens PDF, 192kb). The international student fee is $910 per credit course. Some non-credit courses can be taken at a reduced rate. Read more at the International Students page.

Senior Citizens

Senior Citizens, 65 years of age or older, may register for most Continuing Education funded credit courses for 50% of the seat (tuition) fee, plus all ancillary and miscellaneous fees. Proof of age is required at registration.
