NOTICE: The Winter 2027 intake will be the last offering of the optional co-op program. Students who are interested in co-op are encouraged to apply to the Computer Systems Technology – Software Development program.

Transferring into Co-op 

Students enrolled in 548 (non-co-op) may only transfer into 558 (co-op stream) as long as:

1. There is capacity within the program to accept additional students
2. Students meet co-op eligibility requirements
3. Students agree to pay the required co-op fees. Students may request to transfer into co-op before the end of semester 2 by emailing a request to the Co-op Specialist.

Note - Students who register into the May intake are not permitted to transfer into co-op as this intake does not align with the co-op rotation.

This program has an optional co-op, as part of the program of study. The annual co-op fee structure can be found on the Tuition and Fees page.

Eligibility

Please note that students must follow all eligibility requirements in order to be permitted into the co-op stream or participate in a co-op work term. Academic eligibility requirements will be shared prior to students entering the co-op stream.

This program offers two co-op work term opportunities but requires one completed co-op work term for the co-op designation.
