Like nearly every student application letter I’ve read, I too loved drawing and animation from a very early age. That love sent me across town to an Arts High School in Edmonton where I found a passion for making drawings move. My desire to become an animator led me across the country, through animation college and onwards to a 50 year career where I’ve worked nationally and internationally in multiple 2D and 3D animation industry disciplines as well as teaching at Sheridan College’s Classical Diploma Program for 7 years. I’ve worked for Nelvana, Starz/Arc Productions, Sulivan Bluth Ireland, Tangent Animation, Disney Feature Animation, Sergio Pablos Animation in Madrid and a variety of other companies as a freelance artist. I’ve had some amazing teachers and mentors over the years that have fueled my passion for teaching and a desire to continue passing on what I have learned has led me to join Mohawk College’s Animation Program. It’s a joy to be here helping our talented Faculty fan a few animation flames to help keep this amazing art alive and well. I hope to meet you here soon.
