Upgrade your Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate to earn a Practical Nursing Diploma
For graduates of Personal Support Worker programs from Accredited Ontario Colleges since 2006 only.
- This bridging stream is for certificate-prepared PSW students from a community college since 2006
- Experience collaborative learning the methodology used where you are responsible for your own learning and for contributing to the learning of your peers. Faculty members provide structure and act as facilitators through consultation, assisting with group collaborative activities and providing feedback
360° Classroom Tour
Clinical placements may occur at locations that are not accessible by public transit. As such, students shall be expected to either have access to a car or the ability to supply their own transportation when attending clinical placement activity.
Clinical experience is provided in health care agencies throughout Ontario.
Registration to Practice Nursing
After successful completion of the Practical Nursing diploma program, graduates are eligible to write the Canadian Registered Practical Nurse Examination (CRPNE) which is administered by the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
