Personal Support Worker is a two-semester Ontario College Certificate program offered at the Institute for Applied Health Sciences at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, and the Mohawk-Laurier Centre in Brantford, Ontario.

Students in the Personal Support Worker program, will develop a broad range of abilities to reflect the sensitivity and respect required to provide service to clients. They will apply combined theoretical knowledge with practical skills during field placements.

Program Highlights

  • Experience clinical placements in the health care agencies of Brantford, Hamilton, Halton, Niagara and surrounding regions. Students are responsible for their own travel and costs to clinical placements
