Refunds

Prior to Timetable Selection

If you choose to withdraw from college prior to selecting your timetable, please notify the college in writing in order to be eligible for a full refund of tuition and ancillary fees paid. 

Following Timetable Selection and up to the tenth day of classes

Withdrawal within the first ten days of the program semester start will entitle you to a full refund of all tuition and ancillary fees paid, less a $100 administrative fee. If you do not submit a withdrawal, you will be responsible for full tuition fees for the semester.

After first ten days of classes

If you withdraw from college after the first ten days of the program semester start, the tuition and ancillary fees for the current semester are non-refundable. All prepaid semesters beyond the current semester are refundable. 

To withdraw from college after you have selected your timetable please complete a Mohawk College withdrawal form, available from your Student Success Advisor, or Student Services offices at any Mohawk campus. 

Please note: $50 deferral and $100 late fees are non-refundable.

Refund Policy Effective Fall 2015

If you withdraw from college after selecting your timetable and up to the 10th day of class, you must notify the college in writing to be eligible for a refund of tuition and ancillary fees less the $500 non-refundable deposit. To withdraw after you have selected a timetable, you must complete a withdrawal form available from Counselling Services, Admissions or your Student Success Advisor.

After first ten days of program semester start - if you withdraw from the College after the first ten days of program semester start, the tuition and ancillary fees for current semester are non-refundable. All prepaid semesters beyond the current semester are refundable. Any unpaid fees for the current semester are still owing to the College.

If you are an OSAP Student, your refund amount may be returned to the National Student Loans Centre (NSLC), as per the OSAP terms and agreements.
