Get Ready for Training Nights

Wednesday, February 28, 2024 | Stoney Creek Campus | Front Lobby | 4pm - 7:00pm

Students are highly encouraged to attend! Drop in any time during the event to speak with helpful staff members in person to get your questions answered before your first day. Staff will be available to discuss MyMohawk, Wi-Fi, ONE Card, parking, campus services, and more.

-Exploring Your Schedule - Student Life

Get ahead of the curve and attend this informative session on all things scheduling. Staff will help you access your timetable prior the start of your training. We will also provide information on how to properly read the layout and further information provided on your schedule.  

-Upgrading your Skills for Success - Adult Basic Education Association

 The Adult Basic Education Association (ABEA) is the adult learning network in Hamilton.  Do you need to upgrade your skills to prepare for work or in-class training?  Join us to learn how we can help you identify your skills, connect with services and develop a plan to reach your goals. 

 -Success @ Home: A Session for Families of Students - Health and Wellness Centre

Stress at school can make its way into the home. Being prepared for the changes of student life is important for well-adjusted transitions in the household. This session will help prepare spouses, caregivers, and families for impacts on students' routines, finances, and household stressors that come with attending school full time. 

-Accessibility & Skills Support - Accessible Learning Services

The Accessible Learning Services (ALS) team works collaboratively with faculty and college stakeholders to identify and implement strategies to ensure that all apprentices have an equal opportunity to achieve their educational goals. Our Team works one on one with apprentices to develop appropriate classroom and testing accommodations and offer support in-person or virtually.
