Chris Pinard is the Program Coordinator for the Automotive Service Technician (310S) Apprenticeship Program at Mohawk College, where he also serves as the Lead Instructor for Electric Vehicle (EV) training. A licensed technician with over 20 years of industry experience, Chris combines deep technical knowledge with a strong commitment to training the next generation of automotive professionals.
In his role, Chris leads the development and delivery of both traditional and emerging automotive curriculum, including Mohawk’s Electric and Hybrid Vehicle Service micro-credential. He plays a key role in the design and instruction of hands-on EV training within the college’s state-of-the-art Electric Vehicle and Smart Mobility Lab—equipped with advanced diagnostic tools, EV charging infrastructure, and integrated safety systems.
