John Legree is a dual-licensed Construction/Industrial Millwright and a TSSA G2 Gas Technician with over 20 years of experience in the industry.
John started at the college in 2013 as a part-time Industrial Mechanic Millwright (IMM) professor and moved into a full-time role in 2019. Currently, he is an IMM professor at the Marshall school of Skilled Trades & Apprenticeship.
Being a millwright is a second career for John. Previously, he held I.T. supervisory and management positions in downtown Toronto. It was his work as Project Manager, merging of two data centres into a newly constructed facility, that lead to his interest in a skilled trades career.
Outside of work, John likes to spend his time renovating his old country home and spending time with his wife and seven grandchildren.
