Jorge Bettencourt has almost 30 years of experience working in the insurance adjustment field working as an independent insurance adjuster. His experience also includes working as a supervisor and assistant manager for a major independent adjusting firm.
Jorge joined Mohawk College in 2014, where he currently teaches in the McKeil School of Business’ Insurance program, for which he is also the program coordinator.
Jorge is a graduate of Mohawk’s Insurance program and is a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) as well as a Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional (FCIP), both of which he earned from the Insurance Institute of Canada.
